Securing our Future: Female Founders in Rural Areas Webinar

Learn about W-Power and the outcomes of the project - many helpful tools alongside some interesting insights have been generated which will be conveyed on the day.

 

 

 

W-Power will host a webinar on 7th December from 11am to 1pm (GMT) in conjunction with Inside-T project. Two successful female entrepreneurs Raquel Noboa, Fifty Shades Greener and Catherine O’Grady Powers, Glen Keen Farms will look at the impact of sustainable business approaches and shared learning for rural tourism businesses

This event looks at some of the development challenges for start-ups and early-stage entrepreneurs. Key themes include the challenges faced by female-led enterprises in rural areas, particularly in the areas of sustainable tourism business development. Raquel Noboa of 50 Shades Greener will share insights from her business development journey and will consider sustainable business models, while Catherine O’Grady Powers of Glen Keen Farm will share her enterprise journey and the importance of preserving, conserving and promoting cultural heritage, tourism and language.
